This is a nice change up for Maps & Atlases. The first single from their upcoming release Beware & Be Grateful follows a more formulaic indie-pop style, but they do it with a certain amount of grace that makes everything sound incredibly fresh. It’s a gorgeous tune!

Musiq Soulchild - So Beautiful (Lapalux Bootleg Remix)
Two things immediately jump out to me about this:
- this track is layered with so many samples; this guy knows what he’s doing, adds super thick textures to the music
- I think I know the girl in that picture, she looks really familiar, and that weirds me out a bit

Khatib comes through with an amazing set of pipes and growling guitar,invoking resemblances to the sort of garage rock that Jack White’s been perfecting for the past decade or so-but still managing to carry on his own flavour.
